Install Routerly

Overview

Routerly is delivered as a snap and runs on Ubuntu Core. This provides transactional updates, rollback, and confinement, which are critical for routers deployed in the field.

At this stage, Routerly installs a control plane framework rather than a full routing stack.

Requirements

Install

Once Routerly is published, installation will be done via:

sudo snap install routerly

This will install:

The Routerly control plane

Supporting services

CLI (routerly)

Verify

routerly status

You should see Routerly running and reporting the local system state. Notes

Routerly does not yet configure routing protocols automatically. This release establishes the control plane framework and deployment model.
